## Company

**Mitipi AG** is a **Swiss** company based at Passage du Cardinal 11, Bluefactory, CH-1700 Fribourg (company register CHE-356.372.981). Founded in 2018 after work on the idea began in Zurich in 2017, it is the maker of **KEVIN 3.0**, a home-security presence simulator and burglar deterrent. Awards: Global Digital Insurance Agenda (DIA) award for innovation (2019), Plus X Award in Germany (2021) and the European Security Award for the most innovative burglary prevention in Europe (2024). Mitipi's approach centres on **prevention rather than reaction**: instead of recording or responding to intruders, its products deter break-ins by making a property look and sound occupied.

## Product line

Mitipi's product is **KEVIN 3.0** ("Kevin"), a Swiss-engineered device that simulates a believable human presence using patented light and shadow effects and authentic pre-recorded household sound. Kevin uses no camera and no microphone, stores and plays its simulations locally, keeps working even if Wi-Fi is jammed, and doubles as a Bluetooth speaker and lamp when you are home.
